Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity, here to support everyone through terminal illness, bereavement and grief. Their nurses work night and day in people’s homes, and in their hospices, offering specialist care. Their information and support teams help people feel reassured, informed and empowered to face what’s happening in their lives. Marie Curie’s campaigns influence decision-makers and give a voice to people whose lives are touched by terminal illness and bereavement.

Despite the pandemic causing a devastating loss of funds for the charity, Marie Curie Nurses, support staff and services continued to be there for people and families across the UK, adapting to the needs of local communities, delivering care and relieving pressure on the NHS.

Savers chose Marie Curie as their charity partner in 2013 and have since proudly raised more than £2.7 million thanks to an incredible range of fundraisers, challenge events and product donations.

Our efforts across our stores, distribution centres and offices mean we’ve funded the equivalent of 135,000 hours of Marie Curie nursing care, so more families affected by terminal illness can access the vital support they need.
