Festival essentials you NEED to pack

The basics

You’re on a deserted island (or muddy field, same thing!) what’s the one thing you have with you? Let’s start our packing list here.

Whether it’s fast-drying antibacterial gel, a bottle of water, or your phone (preferably with juice), always pack the items you can’t live without before anything else.  

For speedy spruce-ups

Work smarter, not harder. You can go from stage to stage, day to night, with the right tools in your arsenal. We’re talking dry shampoo, baby wipes and anti-perspirant for when you’re craving a refresh (and the shower queues are too long!).   

Whatever-the-weather essentials

The forecast always has a way of catching festivalgoers out. Expect anything from torrential downpour to a spontaneous heatwave.

While you might be keeping an eye on the weather app in the lead up, make sure your wellies, waterproof mac, sunnies and SPF are all ready to roll. You know, just in case.

The forgettables

It might not be you, it might be your bff, but there’s always someone who realises they don’t have their toothbrush, hair brush or *gasp* festival ticket.

Minimise your chances of forgetting those all-important items by leaving your usual go-tos at home and instead pack yourself travel-friendly options instead.

And if you have space for a multipack of disposable toothbrushes, it’s a surefire way to make new friends!

The mini first aid kit

Something like a dance-induced blister or a headache from lack of sleep isn’t part of the ‘fun’ you envisioned when you saw the festival line-up.

Don’t get caught out without a health and safety kit. Stow away paracetamol, plasters, sanitary products, condoms, and vitamin C effervescence tablets. You’ll thank us later.

Little luxuries

Go from camping to glamping by packing a handful of home comforts, from your silk eye mask to your sleep-saving ear plugs. Sure, they’re not as ‘essential’ as say your anti-bac gel, but a little luxury can go a long way.

Extra room space in your toiletries bag? Pop in a multi-tasking skincare hero (like a hydrating, nourishing mist) or a colourful eyeliner to spark some last-minute beauty creativity.
